The vessel incorporates the latest technology in testing, handling, deploying, operating, and retrieving the intervention riser system and associated well services, providing optimal capability and efficiency for conducting through-tubing well interventions.

Siem Helix 1 is classed as a Well Intervention Vessel (WIV) and can operate with transit speeds in excess of 15 knots for providing service quickly and efficiently where required.
