Project capabilities of the Siem Helix 1 include subsea well intervention or decommissioning, tophole drilling, subsea installation work, offshore crane and ROV operations, offshore construction work, and emergency response activities.

The size and accommodation capacity are suitable for exceptional operational capabilities with excellent performance and station-keeping. The vessel incorporates the latest technology in testing, handling, deploying, operating, and retrieving the intervention riser system and associated well services, providing optimal capability and efficiency for conducting through-tubing well interventions.

Siem Helix 1 is classed as a Well Intervention Vessel (WIV) and can operate with transit speeds in excess of 15 knots for providing service quickly and efficiently where required.
